Join us for a jaunt to jolly old England as Greg Wittstock The Pond Guy natters with Jonathan Davis of JD Landscapes in Northallerton, England. Jonathan built his first pond at age 10 in his parents’ back garden using a bin liner (translation: a garbage bag). He developed his landscaping skills and passed a 3 years BETC (Business and Technology Education Council) course in Horticulture at Askham Bryan College. Jonathan then started a lawn maintenance business, JD Landscapes, with his parent’s lawnmower and hedge-cutter. While getting to know his clients, Jonathan shared his passion for pond building and the rest is history. Today, at age 33, Jonathan is the proud owner of JD Landscapes Water Garden Specialist.
